Due to continued impacts from the winter storm schools will be closed again tomorrow, February 24th.
Based on the forecast for a winter snow storm and the potential for hazardous travel conditions, schools and district offices will be closed tomorrow, February 23, 2026.
Our primary concern is the safety of our students, staff, and families. We will continue to monitor weather and road conditions closely through tomorrow and will provide any additional updates as needed.

There is a special community event hosted by Highland Park Athletics:
A Night with Keli Zinn, Rutgers University Athletic Director. This event will take place on Tuesday, January 13th at 7:00 PM in the High School Auditorium.
Ms. Zinn will join us for an engaging evening focused on leadership, collegiate athletics, and the student-athlete experience. The program will include a discussion on NCAA athletics, an open question-and-answer session, and an opportunity to meet and interact with one of the nation’s leading athletic administrators.
This event is free and open to all students, faculty, staff, and families. We encourage everyone to attend and help make this a memorable evening for our Highland Park community.

Please be advised that Bartle Elementary School will be closed to all staff and visitors from August 11 through August 17 due to construction work involving walkway and bathroom renovations that require asbestos remediation. For safety reasons, no one will be permitted to enter the building during this time. Staff that usually work at Bartle will be relocated to the Middle and High School during this time with all phones routed accordingly. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
We are expecting poor weather conditions tomorrow morning. There is a meeting of the Board of Education on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 7:00pm in the Middle School Cafeteria. This is a workshop meeting in which all items on the agenda will be discussed, but no action will be taken. Given our upcoming Special Education Program Evaluation, our district leadership and board representatives will be joining the SEPAG meeting on October 10th at 6 PM.
