The first was the district's Spring 2026 Student Safety Data System - click here to view this presentation, the second presentation was on the ACCESS test results for our Multilanguage Learners - click here to view this presentation, and the third was an annual report of the Athletics Department - click here to view this presentation.

Curriculum and Instruction: The board approved a number of field trips including visits to Von Thun’s Farm, the HP Library, and a tour of HP businesses. Additionally, the district uses Linewize to filter appropriate websites for students. Linewize will now issue one free device monitor per student. This will give parents the capability to set rules around home device use. The district will have a rollout of the new functionality when school starts in September.

Finance and Facilities:  The board approved the following contractors for professional development: Carnegie Learning will be conducting several workshops for teachers and families, as well as ongoing coaching for the staff, Inspired Instruction to provide PD for HS math teachers and Jana Lee and Associates to continue the co-teaching professional development and coaching. The board also approved several contractors as speakers for an ongoing Drama Club workshop series, the NJPSA Leader to Leader Program for two administrators, and salaries to be funded by state and federal grants. The committee report discussed facilities project updates and an analysis of the athletics department budget from 2024-2025 to 2025-2026. View or listen to the board meeting recording to hear about updates on the pre-k classroom, the Bartle structural repair, the HS cupola, and the athletic budget analysis.
