Last night at the Board of Education reorganization meeting, Ann Vardeman was elected as Board President, and Marilyn Pruce was appointed Vice President. A heartfelt thank you to Allison Casal-Dunn for her dedicated service as President for the past two years.
Please join us in welcoming our newest Board of Education member, Francisco Maldonado, who was sworn in last evening. We are grateful for his willingness to serve our community and for stepping forward to support the important work of public education.
Additionally, the Board established new committees for the year, which will guide important areas of focus and decision-making. Below is a list of the committees with their chairs and members:
