Curriculum & Instruction:

The Board approved the 2024-2025 District Calendar, which can be viewed by clicking here. The board also approved a music clinic series at the middle school, nine district students to attend the Teen Arts NJ program, and mental health early intervention software training for staff.

Finance & Facilities:

We are pleased to announce that the Board has approved a new architecture firm to collaborate with us on our facilities projects. This exciting partnership will bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to enhance our school environment. One of our primary objectives is to explore options for expanding our preschool space, ensuring that it remains conducive to learning and growth for our youngest learners. With the expertise of our new architecture firm, we anticipate a wealth of creative solutions and possibilities.

Personnel & Communication:

The Board accepted the resignation of two beloved staff members who will be retiring this year. We are grateful to Cheryl Gloff, Middle School Special Education Teacher and Sandra Stratoudaksi, Bartle Paraprofessional, for their many years of service and commitment to the district. We look forward to celebrating their retirement at our June meeting. The Board would like to welcome a couple of new staff members to the HP Family. Congratulations to Ruth Beyer, Special Education Teacher at Irving (former Irving Paraprofessional, former Board Member, and HP community member), Adriana Magee, Accounts Payable/Purchasing in the Business Office, and Luiza Ashurov, Part Time Bartle School Counselor.
