Highland Park Board of Education
A nine-member Board of Education is elected by voters of Highland Park for three year terms. Its members serve without pay. Elections of Board of Education members now take place during the General Election, held in November of each year.
To be eligible to vote, residents must be at least 18 years old, citizens of the United States, have lived in the county and state for at least forty days and have registered at least forty days before the election. New voters may register at Borough Hall between 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. Requests for absentee ballots must be made not less than eight days prior to election. The absentee ballot for school elections may be obtained at Borough Hall.
